CLERGY KIDS POOL PARTY
Clergy Kids will again sponsor a pool party at the Florida Southern pool on Saturday, June 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All families of Clergy Kids are welcome. Lunch will be provided by the college at a cost of $7.50 per adult or children 12 and over. The cost for children 3-11 is $5.00 and those under 3 are free. The gym is available for basketball or volleyball if proper gym shoes are worn. Reservations can be mailed to Amy Vigil, 2012 5th Street W., Palmetto, FL 34221 or she can be contacted at AVigil2655@aol.com or by phone at (941) 807-1531. Checks should be made out to the Florida Conference Treasurer. MasterCard, Visa, or Discover cards are also acceptable with the card number and type, full name of cardholder, expiration date of card and permission to charge. Come enjoy a time around the pool making new friends and renewing old friendships.
HIGH SCHOOL AGE CLERGY KIDS:
ANNUAL CONFERENCE OPPORTUNITY
This year, for the first time during Annual Conference, the High School Age Clergy Kids are having an opportunity for organized fellowship, service and fun. (rising 9th included) Here’s the schedule of great events:
On Thursday morning, the School Kits that the conference sends to Angola are being assembled and those in High School will have an opportunity to help put these together. After completion, the balance of the afternoon will be spent on the campus of Florida Southern. Lunch and dinner on Thursday will be in the college cafeteria. After dinner there will be a time of Campus "goofy golf" and the evening will end with a time of worship in the Jackson Religion Building.
Friday morning the group will gather and be transported by church van to the Magic Kingdom at Disney World, where they will spend the day and part of the early evening. They will return to Florida Southern for a time of worship before breaking for the night.
Saturday morning they will join the rest of the Clergy Kids and families for the pool party at the Florida Southern College pool. At the close of the pool party they will join their families for the rest of the weekend.
There are 2 options:
1) Overnight Option: In addition to the great things described above, you stay on campus in the residence hall at Florida Southern Thursday night and Friday night (there will be adult or college students as chaperones), plus eat breakfast Friday and Saturday. Cost: $90.
2) Day Option: All the great things described above. Cost: $40.
NOTE: Disney meals and souvenirs are at your own expense.
ALSO NOTE: If your family will be joining you for the pool party they must register separately with Amy Vigil (see above).
