John 15:5 NLT
““Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.”

Go outside. Choose a plant in your yard. Look at the branches of that plant. Where does their life come from? What would happen if you cut or broke that branch off from the trunk? Would it live? Could it produce a flower? The answer is “No.” A branch only has life when it remains connected to the main part of the plant. A branch can only produce a flower if it is still connected. That’s the way it is with us. As followers of Jesus the only way to live spiritually and to produce fruit for His kingdom is to stay connected to Jesus. We do that by prayer and learning His words.
