On September 20th, severe thunderstorms spawned a tornado in Lake County, not far from the area still recovering from the Groundhog Day tornadoes earlier this year. The twister tore through the city of Eustis with winds up to 105 mph. Over 100 homes in an 8-10 block area were damaged and officials estimate the cost of the damage at over $6 million. Thankfully, there were no deaths or serious injuries (more)
