A Message of Solidarity from the Cuba Conference

Appreciated Brothers and Sisters:

We salute you from the Methodist Church in Cuba, praying for God to shed many blessings over you and your Church.

We have seen the TV images of the destruction caused by Hurricane Wilma in various parts of Florida, impressing us with the disaster that it has been left in her wake.  Even in Cuba, as  we felt the shocks of this phenomenon, the Church has maintained firm and united in prayer, so that God may have mercy for those persons who have felt the storm's fury, not only in Cuba, but also in Florida and Mexico.

Convey on our behalf, our message to all those persons that have been affected, in confidence that God who is our Creator will supply to each and every one, the fulfillment of the promises that God has given to his people.

We love you sincerely and we will always pray for our sisters and brothers in Florida.

Faithfully,

Bishop Ricardo Pereira
