Youth Address at Annual Conference Event 2007
Submission Form for Nomination

Florida Annual Conference members in 2006 passed a resolution that called for a youth member or members to address the Annual Conference in 2007. In order to select that person or persons, the Annual Conference Planning Committee is asking any rising tenth graders through recently graduated seniors to submit an essay with the following criteria:

• No longer than 750 words;
• Must be able to deliver the address in five minutes or less;
• The topic of the essay must center on the idea of passing the Christian faith from one generation to the next generation;
• Include references to these scriptures: Luke 1:46-55 and Psalm 145:4.

The submission deadline has been extended to Monday, April 16.  Submissions may be e-mailed to Kelly Moore at kmoore@flumc.org. Or, mail your submission to:

The Conference Council on Youth Ministries will review the submissions and choose three representatives. These three representatives will give a five-minute presentation during the Annual Conference Event. The Annual Conference Planning Committee will pay for all travel and lodging expenses and the Office of Connectional Ministries will be awarding each representative with a $150 scholarship.
