- Free Dental Insurance for Clergy
The Conference Board of Pension and Health Benefits approved for full time active clergy working at the local church to have the dental plan at no cost to the clergy or local church for 2010 at the single level only. There is a cost to cover dependents. Those not eligible for free coverage are Lay Supply Pastors, clergy appointed to extension ministries and Lay Employees.

Please note that the overall premiums for the entire conference wide insurance program will be reduced by approximately 10 percent. Your church should realize a decrease of this approximate amount unless you have increased payroll, changed property values, bought or constructed a building, or made other changes particular to your individual location. Changes such as these will affect your church premium individually and therefore your premium may vary from the overall 10 percent program reduction.
