History of the Institute of Preaching

In the 1980s, Mr. and Mrs. Frank W. Sherman established the Institute through a generous endowment designed to encourage and inspire Florida pastors to be the most effective Biblical preachers they could be.  Since its inception the Institute has funded annual large group gatherings of preachers to hear from some of the country’s best proclaimers of the Gospel.  Additionally, the Institute has helped fund Institutes in both the Methodist Church of Cuba and Haiti.
