The Basic Course
“Back to the Basics”
Introduces basic skills for speaking, leading and caring. Topics include: God’s call for you, proclaiming the gospel through worship, witnessing, teaching, preaching leadership, service, personal faith, lifestyle and speaking
The class will be taught by Jennette Lewis - Certified Lay Speaker and Karolyn Nunnallee – Certified Trainer and Lay Speaker former Lakeland District Director of Lay Speaking
The Advanced Course
“The Basics of Knowing Christ”
The purpose of this class is to better understand how the various parts of our faith fit together. The course will be based on the book, “ The Framework of Our Faith”. You will do an in depth study of the Apostles' Creed and the Articles of Religion of the Methodist Church
The class will be taught by Rev. Budd Sprague a retired United Methodist Minister
Upon payment, you will receive your book and pre-class assignment.
All snacks and Saturday's Lunch are included in your fee.
Bring your Bible to the class.
